As the evening sets in, head to HeHa Sky View, a popular spot perched on a hillside offering stunning panoramic views of Yogyakarta city lights. Capture the breathtaking nightscape and enjoy your welcome dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel. Free time to rest or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Borobudur, the world-renowned UNESCO-listed Buddhist temple. (Note: Monument access may be limited on Mondays.) Continue the cultural exploration with visits to the nearby Pawon and Mendut Temples, known for their historical and spiritual significance. Next, head to Cangkringan on the slopes of Mount Merapi to experience the Merapi Lava Tour in a 4x4 Jeep. Explore landmarks such as the Museum Sisa Hartaku (My Remaining Treasure Museum), Alien Stone, and the historic Kaliadem Bunker. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by a visit to Malioboro Street, the vibrant heart of Yogyakarta known for its street food, shopping, and local culture. Free program.

After breakfast and check-out, begin the morning with a cultural visit to Kraton, the Sultan’s Palace (excluding the painting museum), followed by the enchanting Taman Sari Water Castle, a former royal garden filled with rich history. Before heading to the airport, stop at local souvenir shops for some oleh-oleh shopping—perfect for finding gifts and keepsakes from your trip.
